Responsibilities

  • Master the Machines: Perform maintenance and repairs on a variety of rental and customer heavy equipment with precision and expertise.
  • Be the Go-To Expert: Provide top-notch repair and maintenance services.
  • Stay Organized: Complete work orders and service documentation accurately and on time.
  • Customer Interaction: Work with customers and vendors as needed to diagnose and repair heavy equipment, ensuring satisfaction and reliability.

What We're Looking For:

  • Technical Expertise: Experience with construction or heavy machinery, including hydraulics, electric systems, and diesel engines.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to assess, question, evaluate, and report on equipment performance.
  • Detail-Oriented: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Customer Service: Outstanding interpersonal skills and a customer-first attitude.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with Microsoft Office and a willingness to embrace new technology (cell phones, iPads, CRM, etc.).
  • Eager to Learn: A hunger for knowledge and the ability to apply new skills.

 

Qualifications

  • High School diploma, trade school certificate, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Experience as a rental equipment technician or a similar role in the repair industry is preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Must have your own tools.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Capability to sit and stand for long periods with frequent bending.
  • Willingness to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
